Grand Master Won Ki Hong is the Founder and President of the World Tae Kwon Do Centers. Grand Master Won Ki Hong was born in Korea and immigrated to the United States in November, 1980. He has traveled all over the United States and to many other countries in order to promote, examine, and demonstrate the true spirit of Tae Kwon Do and the development of the Martial Arts in the world. He founded the American Tae Kwon Do Organization in Florida in 1985. This organization is promoted nationwide, through the states of Florida, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, Pennsylvania and California.
Grand Master Won Ki Hong is internationally known and respected as an excellent and talented teacher, competitor, and philosopher. Grand Master Hong is an incarnation of Martial Arts excellence. His life and many accomplishments demonstrate a never ending pursuit of perfection

1970 Established Tae Kwon Do Club at Jang Chong & Chung Ku elementary school in Seoul
1973 Graduated at Seoul Myung Ji Universtiy (Business B.A.)
1975 Graduated at Korean National Police College (Law B.A.)
1976 National Champion of the Police Officers' Martial Arts Championship in Korea
1976 Instructor of Korean National Police Academy
1977 Team Captain of Capital City of Police Headquarters in Seoul, Korea
1980 Established Master Hong's Tae Kwon Do Center in Florida
1984 Recipient to the City Key of Fort Myers, FL and other appreciation awards worldwide
